Before the season Lugi was predicted to be an outsider for the title. Within the last three matches they have two narrow loses away at Ystad and Hammarby where they lost by one goal on both occassons. Between that they defeated H43 36-24 at home.
Todays opponents Heim is fighting for survival in the bottom region, but looks pretty safe, with 13 points and 7 more than Djurgården. They met Djurgården on wednesday in a very important match, after being down 11-12 at HT they finally grabbed the win 32 - 23. On wednesday morning Henrik Ekelund reported himself sick with a high temperature, but he still had to play because of the importance of the game. Ekelund is their number two goalscorer with 70 goals so far.
Also Martin Frandesjø had to play even though he was too injured with thigh problems according to the coach.
I consider these two regulars to be vey doubtfull for today, and especially Frandesjø I dont expekt to be on the field today. I think Ekelund will play, but with a high temperature on wednesday he might not have fully recovered yet. Frandesjø has scored 27 goals so far and is the third best assist player with 21 so far.
A sure thing is that topscorer and the player with most assist, Petter Bågholm, is out injured. He has scored 87 goals so far and produced 41 assists.
Ik Heim is struggeling to find the net already, actually only two teams has scored less goals than them. Today they will be facing the second best defensive team of the league, and this will not make it any easier.
To my knowledge there is no injuries for Lugi.
All in all, considering these circumstances I expekt Lugi to win with 6 goals or more and I invest 8 units on this.
